Endoscopy Unit Clinical Nurse Manager
Overview of the Role:
The Endoscopy Unit Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the activities and resources within the Endoscopy unit to ensure the provision of safe, high-quality care services to patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and management of patient care to ensure high professional standards are maintained.
* Plan, organize, and supervise schedules within the Endoscopy unit in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Nursing.
* Supervise daily activities of the endoscopy team.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based policies, guidelines, and procedures for the unit.
* Lead the accreditation process and identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement.
* Keep up-to-date with research and developments in nursing and update knowledge, experience, and skills through continuous professional development.
Qualifications & Experience:
* A registered general nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* At least 2 years' experience in a management role within a busy endoscopy service.
* Previous experience within a private healthcare setting would be advantageous.
* Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to influence others.
