Office Administration Assistant - Midleton
Location: Midleton, Co. Cork | Contract: Full-time, Permanent | Salary: €35,000 - €37,000 per annum

A full‑time opportunity has opened at an office based in Midleton, offering a dynamic role with great variety and daily interaction with a wide range of people – from drivers and suppliers to customers and internal teams.
About the Role
This is an administration role supporting both the sales and logistics functions in a fast‑paced, high‑traffic office. You'll be at the heart of daily operations, ensuring the smooth processing of orders and contributing to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales and logistics departments
* Process sales orders, delivery dockets, purchase orders, and invoices with accuracy
* Update internal databases and maintain detailed records
* Handle incoming calls, emails, and customer queries in a professional manner
* Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate collections and deliveries
* Welcome visitors to the office and support cross‑departmental communication
* Assist with stock checks and internal reporting when needed
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 2 years of administration experience, preferably in logistics, transport, or a sales‑related environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and a confident, people‑focused approach
* Comfortable working in a busy office setting
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
* Additional requirement: One Saturday every 10 weeks (9:00 am – 1:00 pm) on a rota basis
* Saturday work is an extra day paid (tax free)
