Currently experiencing growth in new business opportunities, we now require an IES Modeller to enhance the sustainability team who can provide technical support in building certifications.
This individual will join the Sustainability team and work on several large commercial building projects to reduce energy consumption and improve the sustainability of these developments.

Candidate Profile
The role suits a candidate comfortable interacting at senior levels within a business. Experience in a fast-paced service, construction, engineering, or sustainability environment is advantageous. An attractive remuneration and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate.
Key Requirements:
* Ideally 2+ years' experience as a sustainability/energy consultant or related role
* Degree in construction, environmental, engineering, or related field with proven sustainability performance
* Proficiency with IES:VE software for energy modelling and analysis
* IES experience and knowledge of Irish Building Regulations Part L
Skills and Attributes:
* Relevant experience in a modeller or consultancy role within the built environment
* Educational background in engineering
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with stakeholders to develop criteria for environmental assessments
* Collaborating with building owners, design, construction, and operational teams to achieve sustainability targets
* Managing workload to meet project deadlines
* Producing reports and providing guidance to clients and teams
* Attending site visits to review progress
* Organising and participating in meetings, taking minutes, and following up on actions
* Completing training to become a certified assessor in relevant methodologies
* Understanding operational, embodied, and net-zero carbon strategies
* Contributing to service improvement through upskilling and research
