As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the lives of children aged 9 and older. Our team values collaboration, creativity, and making a meaningful impact on the well-being of children and families.
This position involves providing comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions to support functional independence in areas such as self-care, handwriting, school participation, fine and gross motor skills, and sensory processing.
1. Conduct occupational therapy assessments for children presenting with developmental, sensory, physical, or emotional needs.
2. Deliver individual and group interventions to promote functional independence.
3. Engage with children and families through clinic-based sessions, school visits, and home programs.
4. Support children with neurodevelopmental and physical conditions, including Autism, ADHD, DCD, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental or neurological conditions.
You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team and liaise with families, schools, special needs assistants, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
For this role, we require a recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy, CORU registration, experience working with pediatric clients, and knowledge of child development and sensory processing.
