Senior Credit Risk Specialist
We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead our risk management initiatives in credit risk areas.
* A minimum of 8 years' experience with 1+ years at Director level, or equivalent in credit risk management is required.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Retail and Corporate Credit Risk across asset classes and sectors.
* A recognised qualification in relation to Risk Management and deep experience of regulatory requirements for credit risk including Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and EBA Loan Origination and Monitoring Guidelines is essential.
* The successful candidate will possess a broad range of knowledge and understanding on wider commercial, business and economic issues.
* A proven track record in creating and deepening client relationships, identifying opportunities and creating solutions is crucial.
* Experience in leading complex projects and developing teams, with high quality delivery in tight timescales is required.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, drive, enthusiasm and commitment are necessary.
* A solid understanding of model development, implementation, maintenance and related frameworks is also important.

* Lead engagements to deepen relationships, reputation and added value in approaches.
* Understand credit risk issues and challenges and propose solutions including approaches, structures and planning with appropriate consideration of regulatory expectations.
* Peer comparisons risk, time and costs.
* Manage a portfolio of clients and lead the delivery of high-quality consulting advice and service to those clients.
* Accountable for leading large-scale Regulatory Consulting or Assurance initiatives or programmes of work in credit risk areas, at times within a multidisciplined team.
* Ownership and accountability for achieving performance based targets.
* Identify opportunities for innovation and assume responsibility for building the case, mobilising the team and achieving targeted outcomes.
* Support future strategy and business development, including preparation of thought leadership, client proposals and materials and building technical knowledge across the team.
* Drive adherence to standards supporting effective and quality delivery.
* Build, develop and motivate high performing teams offering the required level of personal and professional counselling support and feedback.
* Define effective ways of working and drive collaboration across empowered teams.
