Litter Warden Belfast £18.82 per hour Enforce litter and waste laws, including The Litter (NI) Order 1994 and The Police and Criminal Evidence (NI) Order 1989. Support public education on littering and environmental quality, meeting set time and quality standards. Key Duties Patrol public areas, detect offences, issue penalties, investigate complaints, prepare evidence, and attend court. Work with PSNI, Environmental Health, and others on street cleanliness issues. Identify and report litter hotspots, graffiti, and fly-posting. Monitor commercial waste compliance and advise businesses. Promote anti-litter campaigns and public education. Essential Criteria Qualifications: 5 GCSEs (AC) including English, or equivalent. Experience: 1+ year public interaction in an enforcement/legislative role. 1+ year administrative work (reports, record keeping).
