Customer Service Representative
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced banking environment.
About the Role
You will be tasked with greeting and engaging with customers on the banking hall floor, enquiring as to their needs and providing solutions to meet those needs. You will also be responsible for guiding customers to the appropriate self-service options and directing them to senior staff as required.
* Greeting and engaging with customers on banking hall floor – enquiring as to their needs
* Guiding customers to the appropriate self-service options – mobile app, internet banking and kiosks
* Directing to Teller/Customer Service if required
* Handling basic queries and complaints – directing to senior staff as required
* Engaging with customers using iPads, updating customer information and sales needs
* Identifying sales opportunities, handing over to suitable staff as required
* Cash handling – processing and managing cash and cheque lodgements at Teller as required
* Responsible for balancing cash at end of day and managing levels throughout the day
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should possess strong technology skills, particularly in Microsoft Office. Excellent customer service abilities, teamwork, and a professional phone manner are essential. Previous experience in administration and customer-facing roles would be advantageous.
