In this role you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy for this sporting organisation. Responsibilities Lead and develop the finance team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO, SLT, Board, and committees.Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost control.Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, banking covenants, and regulatory requirements.Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring timely completion of audits with clean opinions.Prepare long-term cash flow forecasts under various scenarios to manage risk and maximize opportunities.Direct procurement activities to ensure value for money while adhering to national/EU regulations.Provide financial oversight for joint ventures and partnerships.Present financial analysis and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.Drive modernization efforts by implementing efficient systems, policies, and processes.
