Inventory Management Specialist
The main purpose of this role is to oversee and maintain inventory and cold-chain operations ensuring the proper storage and distribution of seafood products.
* Inventory Management:
o Monitor and maintain stock levels in storage facilities, identifying any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
o Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records are maintained.
* Cold-Chain Compliance:
o Maintain a consistent temperature range within the storage facilities.
o Evaluate and implement new technologies and methods to improve cold-chain efficiency.
* Inventory Movement:
o Track and record all inventory movements, both into and out of the facility.
o Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Loading and Unloading:
o Assist with loading and unloading of seafood products.
o Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Reporting:
o Document and report any discrepancies or equipment issues to management.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. A background in inventory management and a basic understanding of cold-chain operations is essential.
