Practice Manager

Purpose of the role
The Practice Manager will lead the Donnybrook clinic, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional patient experiences, and strong commercial performance. This role is instrumental in fostering a positive team culture, optimizing clinic operations, and supporting the continued growth of our orthodontic‑focused practice.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management: Lead, coach, and motivate clinical and non‑clinical team members, including orthodontists, dental nurses, treatment coordinators, and reception staff. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and patient‑focused culture. Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Operational Excellence: Oversee day‑to‑day clinic operations to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling. Manage patient communications, appointment coordination, stock control, and clinic administration. Ensure compliance with regulatory, health and safety, and company standards. Monitor and optimise the use of practice management and POS systems.
Financial & Business Performance: Work closely with the Regional Manager to achieve operational and financial targets. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity, and revenue performance. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, patient conversion, and business growth.
Patient Experience: Ensure every patient receives exceptional service throughout their orthodontic journey. Monitor patient satisfaction, online reviews, and feedback channels. Address and resolve patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
Training & Development: Ensure team members are fully trained on Truly Dental policies, procedures, and patient care standards. Promote participation in professional development and educational assistance programmes. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the clinic.
Marketing & Community Engagement: Collaborate with the marketing team to increase patient acquisition and local brand awareness. Support community engagement activities and initiatives that enhance the clinic's visibility and reputation.
Requirements
Education: Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related area (preferred). Additional certifications in dental or healthcare practice management are an advantage.
Experience: 3+ years of management experience in healthcare, dental, or service‑oriented industries. Track record in people management and business performance improvement.
Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. Understanding of patient privacy regulations. Experience with dental practice management software (Dentally, Exact, Carestream). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
