My Dublin based client is recruiting for an ServiceNow Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis working on a hybrid model.
This role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and ongoing optimisation of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it operates reliably, securely, and in line with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform to ensure stability, performance, and usability.
Support and enhance core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.
Configure workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer to support operational processes.
Manage user access, roles, groups, and security controls in line with governance standards.
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and basic Performance Analytics to support operational and management reporting.
Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and work with vendors or internal teams to resolve incidents.
Support integrations with third-party systems such as monitoring, HR, and finance applications.
Participate in upgrade planning, testing, and release management activities.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver practical ServiceNow solutions.
Maintain platform documentation and promote best practices across the user base.
Stay up to date with ServiceNow releases and recommend incremental improvements.
Skills & Experience Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator in a production environment.
Strong hands-on experience with ITSM modules and ServiceNow configuration.
Good understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, data model, and CMDB fundamentals.
Experience creating reports, dashboards, and basic analytics.
Working knowledge of JavaScript, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub (administrative level).
Experience managing users, roles, ACLs, and platform security.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required or strongly preferred.
Additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
