Our client, a progressive public sector organisation is seeking a Project Manager Innovation & International Research to manage high-value research, innovation and international collaboration projects supporting decarbonisation and energy systems transformation.
This role will suit an experienced Project Manager with strong exposure to research programmes, energy policy, innovation funding or technical project delivery in a public sector or regulated environment.
Project Manager - Innovation & Inernational Research Location: Dublin or Cork Salary: €52,026 per annum Contract: 18-month fixed-term contract The Role Reporting to the Innovation & Research Programme Manager, the Project Manager will lead and coordinate research and innovation projects from initiation through delivery.
The role spans project governance, stakeholder engagement, reporting and technical coordination, working closely with researchers, policymakers, funding bodies and international partners.
Key Responsibilities Manage innovation and international research projects from planning through delivery Coordinate multi-disciplinary stakeholders across government, academia and industry Support evaluation, monitoring and reporting of funded research and innovation initiatives Contribute to technical analysis and assessment of energy technologies and systems Support knowledge-sharing, collabo Essential Requirements A relevant qualification (minimum NFQ Level 7) in Engineering, Science, Economics or an energy-related discipline Minimum 3 years experience in project management within energy, research, innovation or programme delivery Demonstrated experience managing projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders Strong understanding of energy technologies and national and European energy policy priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations Strong IT capability including Word, Excel, Power Point and Share Point Desirable Requirements Postgraduate or Ph D qualification Experience managing funded research or innovation projects Experience working in research consortia or multi-partner programmes Technical analysis or evaluation experience related to energy systems Experience delivering workshops, knowledge-transfer or stakeholder engagement events Apply Send your CV to Ben Higginsvia the link below.
