An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead operations for our well-known client, a global manufacturer of heavy equipment for construction, materials processing, waste/recycling and lifting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and motivate the paintshop team, ensuring high safety and quality standards
2. Plan and control paint and shot-blast production to meet schedules and takt time
3. Ensure zero-defect quality and compliance with standard work and H&S requirements
4. Manage daily production, costs, resources and equipment performance
5. Coordinate safe movement, loading and unloading of materials and finished products
6. Maintain housekeeping, maintenance schedules and site safety for staff and drivers
7. Communicate daily priorities and performance expectations to the team
Essential Experience & Skills:
8. Proven production supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
9. Strong knowledge of industrial coatings and paint spraying
10. Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and inventory control
11. Ability to lead, engage and manage high-performing teams
12. Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
13. IT-literate with experience using MRP or similar systems
14. FLT / industrial truck operating experience an advantage
