Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the store and maintain compliance of contracts and company policies
Coach and develop a successful team that consistently exceeds customer needs
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with the team and customers
Supervise and monitor the performance of Department Managers and Sales Consultants
Establish objectives with Sales Managers, F&I Managers, and Sales Consultants
Review monthly forecasts, commission sheets, productivity reports, and the profit performance of each department as a whole, and each Salesperson individually
Audit inventory and ensure that parts are well stocked and accurately accounted for
Study local market conditions, demographics, and past sales history, making recommendations on sales / leasing advertisements
Support other operational units within the store to achieve maximum return on opportunity for the store
Merchandise and manage new and used vehicle inventory
Requirements
3+ years of experience managing a team in a fast‑paced environment
Demonstrated success in leading and managing sales teams, with a history of achieving and surpassing sales goals
Prior experience in truck, body equipment, or a similar industry
Ability to manage a team, mentor, and train employees
Effective support of multiple departments across the organization
Strong operational experience (front and back end) including fixed and variable
Ability to understand company financials (P&L) and inventory control
Advocacy of an engaging company culture, including experience with employee retention
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to effectively prioritize in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment while maintaining accuracy
