System Automation Specialist
We are seeking an experienced System Automation Specialist to join our team in Dundalk, IE.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of automation systems within our site. This includes troubleshooting complex issues, developing system roadmaps and strategies, and supporting new technology deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain ownership and support for automation systems.
* Complete root cause analysis of automation issues and implement solutions.
* Optimize code and system strategies to improve system reliability.
* Configure interfaces as needed.
* Provide technical support to manufacturing teams as required, focusing on process control and automation configuration.
* Lead investigations into electrical, instrumentation, and equipment control system incidents.
* Develop detailed specifications and engineering documents to improve system functionality.
* Support the introduction of new products by assessing their automation requirements and implementing configuration changes.
* Communicate with supervisors and support staff to highlight issues and propose solutions.
* Manage change control, maintenance, and regulatory compliance for automation systems.
