Servd. is a casual, contemporary restaurant located in the heart of Westport, Co.Mayo.Responsibilities:Kitchen Leadership:Directing the food preparation process and assigning tasks to kitchen staff.Supervising all kitchen stations to ensure smooth operations.Training, motivating, and closely working with other chefs at various skill levels.Food Preparation and Execution:Cooking and executing high-quality dishes that meet the restaurant's standards.Creating menu items, developing recipes, and maintaining maximum gross profit (GP).Cost Control and Administration:Managing kitchen labor costs and monitoring overtime expenses.Reconciling invoices against delivery notes and purchases.Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking, and ordering.Quality Assurance and Compliance:Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are consistently maintained.Taking responsibility for health, safety, and hygiene practices in the kitchen.Ensuring compliance with sanitary and food safety guidelines and regulations.Communication and Collaboration:Working closely with management and other team members to develop menus and concepts.Communicating effectively with suppliers and other relevant stakeholders.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef.Valid work authorization in Ireland.Ability to commute to Westport, County Mayo.Passion for food, presentation, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.Phone Siobhan Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From €38,500.00 per yearBenefits:FlexitimeFood allowanceAbility to commute/relocate:Westport, CO.
