Establishing a Senior Project Manager role, you will lead high-value construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal position demands strategic planning, effective budgeting, and collaborative stakeholder engagement.
Main Responsibilities
* Foster project development by overseeing full lifecycle stages, including pre-construction, delivery, and handover.
* Drive planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management across multiple sites.
* Maintain health & safety compliance and quality standards through rigorous monitoring and corrective action.
* Cultivate partnerships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
* Serve as primary liaison for clients, consultants, and public bodies, providing seamless communication and relationship management.
* Develop and implement project strategy, manage risks, and track performance metrics to inform decision-making.
* Provide guidance and support to site managers, engineers, and junior PMs, fostering growth and professional development.
Essential Qualifications
* Hold a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
* Accumulate at least 8 years of experience in project management within the Irish construction industry.
* Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering complex projects (€5M-30M+) in both public and private sectors.
* Exhibit strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and contract forms, such as Public Works, RIAI, and NEC.
* Possess excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Display proficiency in project management tools, including MS Project, Procore, and Buildsoft.
