Job Title: Senior Automation Systems Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of automation systems in various industrial settings. This is an onsite role based in Kilkenny, with some flexibility around remote working possible for experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement automation systems for new manufacturing plants.
* Provide technical leadership and expertise on projects involving automation systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Systems Engineering.
Experience: At least 5 years' experience in a systems engineering role in industrial automation, preferably in a GMP regulated environment (Pharma, Life Sciences, Biotech or Medical Devices manufacturing).
Skills:
* Familiarity with FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ support
* Awareness of system and equipment validation requirements
* Experience with Cognex vision systems
* Supporting in-production controls systems
* Line controllers, MES systems and databases
* New equipment introduction
