Jennings and Donovan Partners, part of RSK Group, are currently seeking to recruit a town planner to join our Planning Team in Sligo, Ireland.
The successful candidate will join a strong team of professionals who cover a broad range of Renewable, Environmental, Residential, Commercial, Water Sector, and Recreational projects in both the public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. A Planner with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate professional experience and an IPI and/or RTPI accredited degree. You will work within a friendly team on a wide variety of projects across Ireland, engaging with diverse clients.
2. Undertake research, desktop studies, site visits, and prepare planning reports and inputs for planning applications, EIARs, and planning appeals.
3. Maintain a good working knowledge of the Irish planning system and the interaction of planning and environmental legislation, including EIA.
4. Demonstrate good professional writing skills with the ability to provide clear advice and a range of reports.
Person Specification:
1. A minimum of 2 years' experience.
2. Member of the IPI or RTPI.
3. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
4. Full driving license.
5. Experience managing or mentoring junior colleagues.
