Role Description
The Community Fundraising Officer will play a vital role in Cork ARC's fundraising efforts. Responsibilities include organising and managing community fundraising events, building and maintaining relationships with donors, and identifying new fundraising opportunities. The role also involves promoting the charity’s mission, preparing fundraising materials, and working closely with volunteers to enhance outreach efforts. This is a full-time permanent, on-site position based in Cork.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with donors, community members, and volunteers
Understanding of Philanthropy and experience working with Charities or in fundraising roles
Excellent Organisation Skills to manage events, coordinate volunteers, and track fundraising activities
Proficient Writing skills to create engaging content for campaigns, social media, and donor communications
Passion for supporting people affected by cancer and a commitment to Cork ARC’s mission
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required
Experience with fundraising tools, donor databases, or CRM systems is an advantage
Previous experience in event planning or volunteer coordination is beneficial
