Responsibilities In their absence, fill in as the CNM2/Clinical Coordinator's stand-in.Actively reports incidents and promotes quality management incident reporting.Recognize the potential electrical, chemical, and transportation threats in the department and take preventative action.Keep an eye on the equipment's safe maintenance and report any issues to the clinical coordinator or her designee.Engage in the process of Joint Commissioning Accreditation (JCI).Participation in getting the hospital ready for the JCI survey.Serves as a resource for senior nurse support in the intensive care unit.Encourages efficient inter professional collaboration to maximize support, staff training, and patient care.RequirementsThe importance of NMBI Registered General Nurse Registration A bachelor's degree in nursing is a necessary postgraduate credential in critical care and is preferred.
