The successful candidate will be employed on a 1-year fixed term contract, leading and managing the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with all customer and legal requirements, company objectives, key performance indicators and continually strive towards continuous improvement and best practice A full job description will be available upon application What your day to day will look like: Lead, coach and develop the Quality Assurance team to achieve the Company's and the department's targets and vision. Set and agree clear individual and team goals and priorities and actively carry out regular performance evaluation through QA Focus to positively influence and persuade the team to exceed the targets and vision and strive for best practice. Continually review and develop the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with all customer and legal requirements, company objectives and key performance indicators. Support and promote the continued development of an effective and proactive food safety & quality culture. Implement culture of accountability and problem solving to reduce non-conformities and improve department efficiencies (preventing problems before they happen). Instil an audit ready everyday culture within all departments. Management of the customer complaint & quality incidents on site to ensure all are investigated, root cause identified and that the teams implement effective and sustainable corrective and preventative actions. Report any issues regarding food safety and quality immediately. Lead and manage the VACCP and TACCP teams on site to ensure both systems meet internal, BRC and customer requirements. Implement, maintain and continuously improve the Document Control System. What you will need to succeed: 3rd Level Qualification in a food related discipline OR a minimum of 5 years' experience as a QA within a FMCG environment Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft packages Ability to demonstrate implementing BRC and driving CI / lean initiatives Demonstrate implementation, review and development of quality management systems. Desirable Criteria (it would be great if you have these but don't worry if you don't!)
