Technical Specialist - Microbiology - Pharmaceuticals - 12-Month Contract
One of our global Pharmaceutical clients is looking for a Technical Specialist to join their team close to the picturesque and historical city of Cork. The site is renowned for manufacturing excellence and plays a vital role in the company's large-scale biotech operations worldwide.
The site has received € million in investment over the last five years to continue the growth and expansion of the facility; with new products coming to the site, it is an exciting time to join the team.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
1. Provide technical direction for the Lab Ops Microbiology team on day-to-day issues
2. Ensure compliance to all relevant procedures and practices and ensure recommended improvements are implemented.
3. Troubleshoot technical issues and lead investigations through scientific problem-solving approaches.
4. Partner with cross functional groups to support change management to implement process improvements.
5. Ensure compliance with site EHS policy, cGMP and other business regulations and participate in risk assessments, audits, regulatory inspections and incident investigations.
6. Ensure the highest Quality, Compliance and Safety standards by participating and complying with our Manufacturing Division Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, including ownership, as relevant.
7. Lead problem solving teams across all areas of the IPT (e.g. reliability, Safety, Quality (e.g. Deviation Management, etc).
8. Lead and close process related deviations and reports.
