Customer Account Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Account Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for dealing with customer account queries in line with agreed procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct contact with customers and the Sales Department to ensure the prompt processing of queries
* Produce credit notes timely and accurately on resolution of query
* Prompt allocation of cash receipts to customer accounts
* Follow up any discrepancies when posting cash until resolved
* Ensure invoices and statements are sent out to customers on a timely basis
* Reconciliation of bank accounts
* Reconciliation of customer accounts
* Support Credit Controller when required
* Perform Month End and Quarter End Reporting Tasks
* Perform other related duties as directed
* Adherence at all times to documented procedures and compliance with audit requirements
* Project work to improve efficiencies on various systems
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounts Receivable preferably in a multinational environment
* SAP experience desirable
* Ability to operate with a minimum of supervision and the ability to solve problems with a minimum of guidance
* Sound commercial education/background
* Ability to develop and maintain a cordial and mutually beneficial relationship with Customers and the Sales Office
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Excel and Word for example v-lookup and pivot tables
