Role Description
This is a part-time volunteer role as a Grant Writer, conducted remotely. The Grant Writer will primarily focus on identifying potential funding opportunities, drafting compelling grant applications, and preparing proposals tailored to meet funders' criteria. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting prospect research, assisting with grant administration, and supporting the organisation's broader fundraising efforts. By securing financial resources through grants, the volunteer will directly contribute to the organisation's mission of wildlife conservation and education in Ireland.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Grant Writing and Proposal Writing to craft effective funding applications
* Skills in Grant Administration and Fundraising to manage funding processes and drive financial support
* Experience with Prospect Research to identify new funding opportunities and develop donor relationships
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
* Previous experience with environmental, conservation, or nonprofit work is beneficial
* Demonstrated communication and collaboration abilities
