We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years experience in high end fine dining or a 5 star hotel.
Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management
Supervise and support kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health standards (HACCP or equivalent)
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Step in and lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
Culinary degree or professional chef training preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and safety regulations
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Creative and passionate about food and hospitality
Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
