Who are we?We're Around of a Paws – a doggy day care based in Castleconnell County Limerick offering both day and overnight stays for dogs across Limerick and further afield.This job is Monday- Friday. There is flexibility during this period if required.Experience and working with animals is not essential but preferred.Full clean drivers license with required.Role:During your shift, you will feed, water and provide a high level of overall care for the dogsMonitor individual dog behavior and interaction with other dogs in order to maintain the highest level of safetyClean and disinfect all play areas to maintain a high level of hygieneInteract with all dogs, engage in play time both indoors and outsideFollow our strict feeding chart for each dog attending daycareGreet customers, answer questions, take bookings and provide general information about the facilityTraining and canine certifications will be providedResponsibilities:Be patient with the dogs in our care as they all possess various levels of obedience and confidencePossess excellent attention to detail when taking daily pictures of the dogs in our care, their interactions with the other dogs, cleaning on a daily basis and much moreExcellent communication with both staff, management and dog ownersAbility to problem solve and think on your feetAbility to follow instructions provided by experienced team members and managementThe role requires a high level of physical activityThe successful candidate should be:Be friendlyBe patientBe compassionateBe enthusiasticBe responsibleBe organisedJob Type: Full-timePay: From €14.00 per hourExpected hours: 37 per weekBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Castleconnell, CO.
