This
Principal Python Engineer
role is with a fast-growing company in the
trading and financial services sector
. They're launching a brand-new platform, giving you real ownership over architecture, tooling, and backend direction from day one.
The main focus of this hire is building and scaling the
core backend systems
that power the platform. You'll work on
Python-based services
, API-driven architectures, and data-intensive workflows in a cloud-native AWS environment as the business continues to grow.
This role is ideal for engineers with experience in
scalable backend systems
and production-grade AWS environments who enjoy solving complex problems and taking ownership of critical platforms.
You will:
* Work on scalable backend services and APIs
* Help shape architecture on a greenfield platform
* Collaborate closely with senior engineers and stakeholders
You have:
* 8+ years of software engineering experience
* Strong Python backend expertise
* Hands-on experience with AWS and scalable systems
Salary / Remuneration
Up to
€110,000
+ 12% bonus, 15% non-contributory pension and health insurance.
