Job Description
We are seeking a talented Application Operations Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to our IT mission-critical applications within the Clearstream production and pre-production environment.
You will ensure that maximum service level is provided to customers on a 24-hour basis, supporting the production environment 24/7 and solving IT incidents with innovative solutions.
Additionally, you will implement, integrate, and support third-party software as well as internally developed applications within the Clearstream Services IT production environments.
Key responsibilities include analyzing problems and resolving issues, performing monitoring, tuning, and optimization of performance of in-house Clearstream IT applications as well as third-party software while ensuring maximum availability and service to customers.
As an Application Operations Engineer, you will also participate in the on-call rota allowing for the best service to customers outside of standard hours, deploy Clearstream business applications to end-users, and ensure the integrity of the production environment by implementing upgrades or new products that are critical for daily operational business.
Required Skills and Qualifications
University degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience is required.
* Experience with production environment and on-call is an asset.
* Team spirit, open-minded, and adaptable to change is essential.
* Good knowledge of one or more of the following tools: Git Hub, Jenkins, Jira, Open Shift, JBOSS, Weblogic is a plus.
