Program Director
Location: Dublin / Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead a complex, high-profile transformation programme involving Gen AI initiatives and large-scale systems integration.
This role requires a proven leader who can confidently manage senior executive stakeholders and coordinate delivery across multiple System Integrators (SIs).
Insurance experience (ideally Property & Casualty) is desirable but not essential.
The key requirement is strong programme leadership, governance, and delivery credibility.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the single point of contact for client executive and senior leadership.
Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Lead programme governance, steering committees, and executive status reviews.
Provide clear reporting on cost, budget, delivery status, risks, and benefits realisation.
Manage complex delivery environments involving multiple SIs and vendors.
Drive delivery assurance, operational reviews, and dependency management.
Oversee resource planning, financial forecasting, and cost control.
Implement robust risk and issue management with timely escalation and resolution.
Ensure alignment between programme outcomes and wider business objectives.
Track and demonstrate measurable outcomes (cost savings, efficiency gains, performance improvement).
Apply best practices in programme and delivery management.
Support continuous improvement across delivery processes and ways of working.
Required Skills
Proven experience as a Programme Director / Senior Programme Manager on large, complex programmes.
Strong track record managing C-suite and senior executive stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience coordinating and governing multiple System Integrators.
Experience with Gen AI, digital transformation, or large systems integration programmes.
Strong financial, risk, and delivery management capability.
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision‑making skills.
Comfortable working in a hybrid delivery model.
