Joiner Position
We are seeking a skilled joiner to fill a permanent role in our workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression and offers a flexible working environment.
About the Role
This position involves assembling and machining joinery products, as well as operating woodworking machines. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in these areas and be able to read and follow technical drawings and specifications.
Requirements
* Able to read and follow technical drawings and specifications
* Proven experience in assembling and machining joinery products
* Experience with woodworking machines (cross-cut saw, dimension saw, surface planer/thicknesser, spindle moulder, etc.) is desirable
* Willingness to take on a variety of workshop tasks as required
* Time-served with relevant joinery qualifications (NVQ, Diploma, or City & Guilds)
* Strong teamwork skills and a flexible approach to duties
* Possession of a passion for joinery and carpentry
Working Hours and Pay Rate
Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times. Pay rate: £17-20 per hour (dependent on experience and skill level). Salary negotiable for the right candidate.
