We are looking for the below roles to join our Landscaping Department:
* General Operatives (Starting from €14.00 p/h)
* Acting Team Leaders (Starting from €17.00 p/h)
* Team Leaders (Starting from €19.00 p/h)
These roles will involve the use of machinery and equipment and will include physical exertion (manual handling etc.) on a daily basis.
Duties:
General Operatives
* Soil Cultivation
* Seeding and turfing of lawns
* Paving/light civil works
* Topsoiling
* Tree and shrub planting
* Mulching
* Watering
* Structural tree pit construction
* Ad hoc duties.
Acting Team Leaders & Team Leaders
All of the above plus:
* Daily management of crews on site.
* Scheduling of materials and plant / machinery for site.
* Managing the safety of colleagues on site.
* Supervision of sub-contractors.
* Quality control / monitoring of incoming materials.
* Read, understand, and build as per landscape plans / drawings.
* Ensuring the care and maintenance of plant and machinery whilst on site.
* Generating reports, including time sheets, machinery checklists, H&S reports etc.
* Attend regular team meetings.
* Ad hoc duties
Requirements:
* Valid Safe Pass – An Advantage (Can be provided by us for the right candidate)
* Provisional / Full Driving License – Required for Acting Team Leader & Team Leader role.
* B+E License/ Tractor experience – Required for Acting Team Leader & Team Leader role.
* Previous experience / knowledge in a similar industry – Required for Acting Team Leader & Team Leader role.
* Background in construction - An Advantage
