SEN Teaching Assistant Role
As a dedicated professional, we are seeking an individual to support children with additional needs in a dynamic 1:1 teaching assistant role.
* This full-time position requires the ability to work closely with students, promoting independent learning and confidence building skills.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of special educational needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and behavioral disorders. Experience working with SENCOs and support staff is also highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting students with additional needs in a 1:1 capacity.
* Collaborating with SENCOs and support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
* Providing positive reinforcement and encouragement to promote independent learning and confidence building.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
* A strong understanding of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and behavioral disorders.
* Experience working with SENCOs and support staff, preferably in a school setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
