Job Summary:
Project Coordinator Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to manage multiple site crews and coordinate deliveries with our detailer/despatch office.
* Sourcing plant and equipment as needed is a key aspect of this role, ensuring timely delivery and reducing downtime.
* The successful candidate will represent the company at daily/weekly meetings with clients, promoting our interests and facilitating effective communication.
* This position also involves overseeing safety protocols on site, conducting regular safety audits to identify areas for improvement.
* Quality standards on site must be consistently high, with inspections conducted to issue sign-offs and ensure compliance.
* Maintaining accurate records of progress and managing design changes/delays, including notifying project QS of any delays or cost implications, is crucial in this role.
* This position reports directly to the Contracts Manager.
Requirements:
* A degree in Civil/Structural or Construction Engineering is required for this position.
o The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of site experience on civil or building projects, with a proven track record of maintaining high levels of Health & Safety and Quality on site.
+ Good engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
