Physical Security - Security Program Manager, DCC Communities

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Operations Security Team is seeking a highly talented and motivated physical Security Program Manager (SPM) to join our team.
The role involves designing, installing, integrating, and maintaining security systems such as Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV Surveillance.
The SPM will work across all disciplines, from technology research and system design to construction oversight and ongoing upgrades.
Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership for large-scale security engineering projects and coordinate specification and change management between internal teams and external vendors.
Prioritize tasks, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure compliance with physical security project standards.
Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and change-outs.
Support equipment commissioning and complete final test and acceptance of security systems.
Build and deploy training programs for all users of physical security systems.
Basic Qualifications
5–7 years of experience managing operations and installation of regional or global physical security systems.
Experience as a Physical Security Program Manager for large, complex installations.
Advanced knowledge of the Security Integrator Industry and design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, BaseBeam.
High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and diplomacy.
Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time and work in an industrial environment.
Excellent teamwork, results orientation, high energy, and self-motivation.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience in corporate security and workplace safety.
Certification in S2 or Lenel Access Control Systems.
CPP, PSP, or CISSP certification.
3–5 years of experience managing security professionals or monitoring centers.
