We are currently recruiting for a full-time Senior Financial Services Administrator to join our team in our Cork city office. The role involves high-level administration and operational support to a Financial Consultant.

We seek a professional with proven experience in financial services or a similar environment. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, enthusiastic, meticulous, and proactive. This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming and dynamic team within a well-known Financial Services Company that promotes progression, opportunity, and professional development.

A QFA/APA qualification is highly desirable but not essential; candidates working toward certification or with equivalent experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

* Diary, phone, and email management
* Working closely with the Financial Consultant on client file management
* End-to-end client file and case management
* Processing and overseeing new business applications
* Servicing queries on new and existing business
* Managing relationships with product providers, underwriters, and clients
* Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in documentation and processes
* Preparing reports, quotes, and conducting file reviews
* Maintaining up-to-date and accurate customer records and databases
* Addressing additional administrative or clerical duties as they arise
* Utilizing local area knowledge to enhance customer interactions and support business activities
* Contributing to process improvements and office operations

Key Competencies and Skills:

* A QFA/APA qualification is highly desirable
* Experience in administrative roles within financial services or regulated environments
* Ability to manage complex tasks with minimal oversight
* Strong interpersonal skills, handling confidential and sensitive information
* Proven team player with the ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite
* Good attention to detail and high accuracy
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
