Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Service Sales Specialist. You will drive sales of the Service team focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets. You will build strong customer relationships, identify new market opportunities, and ensure a seamless sales process aligned with Hitachi Energy’s strategy.

Location: Ireland (Hybrid), some travel to Dublin

* Sales & Profitability: Assist in driving sales by promoting service products, ensuring optimal volume and profitability.
* Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions for a positive experience.
* Sales Planning: Create and manage sales plans using internal tools; monitor progress and implement recovery strategies when needed.
* Value Creation: Use effective sales techniques to ensure successful deals, aligning proposals with company offerings and terms.
* Marketing & Promotion: Support marketing efforts and communicate value propositions effectively to customers.
* Market Development: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, fostering cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
* Sales Administration: Handle administrative tasks, support collections, and assist with project management as required.
* Offer Management: Prepare competitive offers in coordination with internal teams, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
Your Background
* Your background Bachelor’s degree; or suitable relevant work experience.
* Proven experience in electrical industry and front-end roles within the Service market, including sales or sales management.
* Strong technical foundation with a degree or relevant qualification; deep knowledge of the electrical industry, customer segments, and Hitachi Energy’s offerings.
* Skilled in managing multiple quotes simultaneously, with a focus on customer communication and timely updates.
* Demonstrated ability to develop client-focused solutions, drive new business creatively, and deliver results in a competitive environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, negotiation, presentation, and both verbal and written communication.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a results-driven setting.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce; capable of motivating and delegating within a team to execute tasks effectively.
* Full clean Irish Driver’s license
