Job Title: Nurse Care Specialist
The role of a Nurse Care Specialist is to provide high-quality patient care in the High Dependency Unit. This position requires delivering nursing care to patients with complex needs, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver skilled nursing care to critically ill patients in a collaborative environment.
* Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment, utilizing clinical expertise to inform decision-making.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimize patient outcomes.
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications:
* Registered nurse with current registration and experience in acute care settings.
* A minimum of 12 months post-registration nursing experience in critical care environments.
* Desirable HDU qualification or willingness to complete relevant course.
* Critical Care experience is highly desirable.
* Valid ACLS training or willingness to complete same.
* Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
* Basic IT Skills.
