Paediatric Respiratory Physician Role
This specialist doctor position is focused on paediatric respiratory medicine within the Children's Health Ireland service.
About the Role:
* To reduce waiting lists for outpatient clinic review in paediatric respiratory medicine.
* Reduce waiting lists for investigations of sleep disordered breathing in children.
* Decrease waiting times for assessments and regular monitoring of gas exchange in children on long term ventilation.
The role will also support the Clinical Specialty Lead for Respiratory to fulfill their responsibilities. The ideal candidate must be registered as a specialist in the relevant specialty on the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland, within 180 days of the interview and before taking up appointment.
The Consultant must remain registered with the Medical Council of Ireland throughout their tenure. Documentary evidence of registration is required annually.
