Senior Quantity Surveyor – West of Ireland

An established and growing main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in the West of Ireland. Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects from pre‑construction through to final account.
Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets and cost reports.
Conduct procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including tender analysis and negotiation.
Measure and value works completed on site.
Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Monitor project cash flow and forecast financial performance.
Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage subcontractor payments and contractual obligations.
Liaise with project managers, site teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with contract conditions and company procedures.
Requirements
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
5+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably with a main contractor.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management.
Proven experience managing project costs and subcontractor accounts.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Full driving licence.
