My client is seeking a skilled professional to join their multidisciplinary team, providing essential speech and language therapy services across the Northwest and Western regions of Ireland.
About the Role As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and delivering therapy interventions that enhance the communication and functional abilities of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support children, young people, and adults with a range of disabilities, including physical, sensory, and autism-related needs.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language therapy assessments and interventions.Develop individualized treatment and support plans based on evidence-based practices.Provide therapy services, including communication assessments, diagnostics, and intervention strategies.Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and person-centered care.Educate and support families, caregivers, and staff on communication strategies and individual needs.Contribute to service development initiatives and quality improvement projects.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with professional and organizational standards.Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated with best practices in the field.Essential Criteria: A recognised third-level qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, preferably in disability services.Registration (or eligibility for registration) with CORU as a Speech & Language Therapist.Experience in delivering communication aid programs, such as Lámh.Valid Garda Clearance (and Overseas Clearance if applicable).Full driver's license with eligibility to drive in Ireland and access to a vehicle.Desirable Criteria: Experience working with children, adults, and families in an interdisciplinary team.Advanced clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and diagnostics.What's on offer Supportive and enriching work environment where their employees thrive.Competitive salary with increments.Premium pay for Sundays and Bank Holidays.Comprehensive induction and training programs.Ongoing mentoring & professional development support.Career progression opportunities.To apply, submit your CV email ******
