Role Overview
The Support and Maintenance Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining the operational performance of our EV charging network. You will be the central point of contact for coordinating maintenance activities and resolving technical support requests. This role requires strong organizational abilities, technical understanding, and customer-facing communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the initial point of contact for support escalations and maintenance scheduling.
* Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with field teams and service providers.
* Monitor EV charger uptime using backend systems and initiate service tasks as needed.
* Log and manage support tickets via helpdesk/maintenance management software.
* Maintain accurate service records, including parts usage, site visits, and resolution timelines.
* Communicate updates to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders effectively.
* Work closely with technical support and engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
* Generate regular reports on service performance metrics, downtime, and KPIs.
* Support inventory control by tracking spare parts and maintenance equipment.
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory guidelines, and SLAs.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* 2–4 years of experience in technical coordination, maintenance planning, or field service support.
* Experience in sectors such as EV charging, telecom, energy, or facilities management.
* Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills.
* Familiarity with helpdesk or ticketing platforms (e.g., Freshdesk, Zoho Desk).
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Ability to understand and interpret technical documents and service manuals.
Preferred Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.
* Hands-on experience with EV charging systems or similar infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, UPS, solar).
* Knowledge of OCPP, IoT platforms, or charger management software.
* Understanding of basic electrical systems and site commissioning.
* Familiarity with GIS/location tools for dispatch and support planning.
