My client based in Dublin City Centre are currently on the lookout for a Tax Analyst to join their team. This is a daily rate contract for until the end of March 2026.Hybrid: 3 days per week onsiteKey Responsibilities:Execute functions from the Tax Information Reporting process tree including, but not limited to, tax form validation, withholding, information reporting, legal entity maintenance, and governanceAct as a tax information reporting specialist to execute operational and project initiativesDevelop best practices and implement appropriate procedures and controls to ensure consistent compliance with Information Reporting, FATCA, and/or CRS requirementsFirst point of contact for queries relating to above and escalating to senior team members when requiredSupport Tax Information Reporting Service Delivery model with all stakeholdersIdentify and participate in process re-engineering and re-design activities to achieve better controls, compliance, and efficienciesSupport audits by tax authorities and Internal AuditSupport Technology projects from a tax technical perspectiveContribute towards departmental requirement to adhere to strict regulatory and compliance requirements per tax authority and policyAssist with Regulatory Reporting requirements across FATCA, CRS, 1099 and 1042 as requiredAssist with updating and maintaining operational procedures relating to Tax Information Reporting.Person Specification:Practical experience within the operations tax/asset servicing industryTwo to three years' experience in an operations Tax/asset servicing environment.Background understanding of CRS and FATCAAbility to interact confidently with other divisions, at all levelsProactive and questioning natureStrong Microsoft Office skillsFamiliarity with securities operations and workflows (Back-Office and Middle-Office) along with Knowledge of the supported/related business areas (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Settlements, Reconciliation).Experience of compiling data, defining, documenting control requirements and detailed procedures.Basic understanding of U.S. tax information reporting rules applicable to U.S. Persons and non-U.S. PersonsBasic understanding and working knowledge of IRS Forms W-9 and W-8 and their associated requirements; Forms 1099 and 1042-SExcellent communication skills to drive engagement and close interactions with key stakeholders. Provide basic advisory services primarily for internal clientsWell versed in standard desktop technology with advanced Excel skills.
