Audit Senior / Responsible Individual
Location: Dublin 18
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Senior to join our practice in Dublin 18. This role requires an individual who is eligible to act as a Responsible Individual (RI) under IAASA regulations, with the authority to take responsibility for audits and sign audit reports.
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of audit clients and deliver high-quality audit and business advisory services. This is a client-facing role with significant responsibility, offering the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the practice while developing your own career.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as Responsible Individual on audit engagements, with authority to sign audit reports.
* Manage and deliver a portfolio of audit and compliance assignments from planning through to completion.
* Serve as lead client contact, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
* Support the Partner in achieving portfolio and practice-wide fee targets.
* Provide business advisory input to clients, identifying opportunities to add value.
* Oversee and mentor team members, playing a key role in their training and development.
* Ensure assignments are completed on time, within budget, and to a high technical standard.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of client services offered by the practice.
Key Competencies & Requirements
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) with audit qualification and practicing certificate (or eligibility to apply for practicing certificate).
* Eligible to act as a Responsible Individual (RI) under IAASA rules.
* Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in audit.
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
* Demonstrated ability to project manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proactive approach to client service and business development.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
* Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic professional environment.
