Brightwater is Seeking an Applications & Support Engineer for Print Technology
We are a leading innovator in the signage and graphics industry, expanding our technical team with a dynamic Applications & Support Engineer.
This is a customer-facing role ideal for someone who knows their way around wide-format printing, colour workflows, and RIP softwareand who thrives on making a positive impact with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Showroom & Demo Leadership: Deliver engaging, tailored equipment demos to clientsboth in a state-of-the-art showroom and on-site. You'll showcase printers, cutters, laminators and more.
* Training & Workflow Optimisation: Set up software (e.g. RIP solutions), run training sessions, and help clients fine-tune their print workflows for efficiency and quality output.
* Client Onboarding & Support: Provide technical support and empower customers post-sale through training, advice, and troubleshootingbuilding lasting, trusted relationships.
* Internal & Field Collaboration: Work with the sales and engineering teams on installations, customer queries, and improving technical resources. You'll also step in with first-line support when needed.
* Customer Site Training across Ireland: You will be required to visit customer sites during installations.
Experience/Requirements:
* Solid Background in Digital Print Production: We require a solid background in digital print production, support, or applications engineeringideally including wide-format printers (e.g. Roland).
* Confident with RIP Software: Confident with RIP software, ICC profiling, and colour management.
* Strong Communication Skills: A strong communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts in a practical, engaging way.
* Organised and Proactive: Organised, hands-on, and proactive with a full clean driving licence.
* Desirable Experience: Experience delivering training or customer support in a B2B setting is highly desirable.
