Purpose Of The Role:
Two excellent opportunities have opened up at our Dublin Branch in the role of Logistics Operative. The successful applicant will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving of pallets, house-keeping and general Cross Dock activity
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general housekeeping duties in the Transit Terminal
* Loading of rigids and trailers
* Unloading of rigids and trailers
* Moving pallets from Inbound to the correct tracks
* Processing of Inbound and reporting any discrepancies via the system
* Perform other related duties as required
* Ensure adherence to the health and safety processes
The Ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience within an MHE operational environment or similar
* Valid counterbalance forklift licence
* Excellent problem solving and analysis skills
* Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* A highly customer service orientation with an understanding of what good looks like and a passion for delivering quality
* Highly adaptable with a flexible approach
* Ability to deal with customer problems efficiently and professionally
* Take responsibility to resolve issues
* Ability to work on own initiative and adapt working day around the issues that arise
* Strong IT skills
* Excellent conflict resolution skills, diplomacy and tact.
* Experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
* A proven track record of supervising the management of a team
* Persuasive, motivational and persistent.
* Strong team leadership and teambuilding abilities
