About the Role
We're looking for a driven, detail loving, people person to join our Commercial Team as Commercial Executive at The Heights Hotel Killarney.
This role reports directly into our Commercial Director supporting the commercial function of the team.
You'll work alongside our Revenue Manager, Wedding Manager and Commercial Team.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting all things sales, marketing, revenue and weddings from responding to enquiries and building relationships, to supporting campaigns, managing systems and helping drive direct business.

Key Responsibilities
Administration & Sales Development
* Handle incoming leisure, group, corporate and wedding enquiries in a professional and timely manner
* Prepare proposals, contracts and follow-ups to convert enquiries into confirmed business
* Support proactive sales activity including local corporate, tour operators and event planners
* Maintain accurate records in CRM and sales tracking systems
* Assist with site inspections, show-arounds and wedding appointments when required
Weddings & Events Support
* Support the Weddings & Events team with enquiry handling, confirmations and admin
* Assist with wedding showcases, open days and promotional events
* Prepare function sheets, contracts and coordination details as required
* Provide exceptional guest experience from first enquiry to post-event follow-up
Marketing & Digital Support
* Assist with social media scheduling, content coordination and campaign rollouts
* Support email marketing, promotions and seasonal offers
* Update website content and online listings when required
* Assist with photography, video shoots and brand content creation
* Support partnerships with local attractions and tourism bodies
Revenue & Systems
* Support rate loading, promotions and package set-up across systems
* Assist with reporting on performance including occupancy, ADR and pick-up
* Ensure accuracy across booking channels and internal systems
* Support direct booking initiatives and OTA optimisation
Admin & Commercial Coordination
* Prepare reports, presentations and marketing materials
* Maintain accurate databases and filing systems
* Support budget tracking and campaign performance reporting
* Act as a key link between Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office and Operations
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in hospitality, sales, events, reservations or marketing (hotel experience a big plus)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident dealing with guests, couples, corporate clients and suppliers
* Comfortable working across multiple systems and platforms
* Creative, proactive and not afraid to take initiative
* A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
* This role will involve travel both nationally and internationally from time to time.
