Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities
This role involves:
* Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing care plans within set timeframes, documenting findings according to established policies.
* Leading the shift and demonstrating leadership through tasks such as delegating responsibilities, supervising groups, and ensuring that nursing policies and procedures are followed by yourself and your team members.
* Maintaining close observation of patients and responding promptly to any changes in their condition, notifying physicians as needed.
* Administering medications in accordance with hospital policy.
* Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A degree from an accredited program of professional nursing or relevant state licensure.
* Previous experience working in psychiatric healthcare facilities, preferably with direct experience in treating chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
* A current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse issued by the State Board of Nursing.
* CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to interacting with patients. You must be at least 21 years old.
