About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Pharmacist to join our dynamic team.
This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications and providing expert healthcare advice to the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately dispense prescriptions in line with legal and professional standards.
Provide advice on medications, including dosage, side effects and interactions.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those set by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
Leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Supervise and support the pharmacy team.
Deliver additional pharmacy services (e.g., vaccinations, health screenings where applicable)
Managing the day-to-day operations of the dispensary and store, including:
Stock control
Paperwork and administrative duties
Claim verification and submission
Store opening/closing duties
The Ideal Candidate
Fully qualified and registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
Minimum 1-year experience in community pharmacy (preferred)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Highly organised, capable of working efficiently under pressure
Empathetic and professional in dealing with patients
Strong leadership qualities and ability to motivate a team
