Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of our kitchen staff, the Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing daily operations, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety are maintained.

Duties

* Planning and developing menus that align with the Hotel's concept and customer preferences.
* Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
* Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality standards are met.
* Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations.
* Lead by example in food preparation and cooking techniques, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Monitor staff performance, provide training, and support professional development initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment.
* Assist in resolving customer complaints related to food quality or service promptly and professionally.

Skills

* Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment.
* Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively within a fast-paced setting.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members.
* Minimum 2 years experience.
* Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management. This role is ideal for a passionate culinary professional eager to contribute to a vibrant team while advancing their career within the hospitality industry.
* Gross Annual Salary Range Euro € €60000 based on 39 hour working week.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €34,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
